Privacy Policy

Who we are. The Honest Hum is published by Cristiano Fonseca, an individual developer in Brazil. Contact: support@thehonesthum.com. We are the data controller under Brazil's LGPD and, for users in the EU/UK, under the GDPR.
The short version
- No account. We never ask for your name, email or phone.
- Your stats, achievements, story passport, morning sleep ratings and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
- Sounds are generated on your device. Nothing is recorded; the app does not use the microphone.
- Stories you play for the first time are downloaded from our story server, then kept on your phone and played offline.
- The free version shows non-personalised ads from Google. Premium has no ads.
- We do not sell data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18) and the GDPR you may ask to access, correct, delete or port data we hold, and object to processing. Because we hold no personal data on our servers, most requests are answered by the app itself: deleting the app deletes all local data. For purchase data, contact us or Apple/Google; for ad data, use "Ad privacy choices" in the app (EU/UK) or Google's ad settings. You may also complain to the ANPD (Brazil) or your local data-protection authority.
Children
The Honest Hum is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Ads are limited to the "General" content rating.

We will update this page and the date above if anything changes, and mention important changes in the app.
